how long before it'll rust?
i know that the topic of headers has been greatly discussed before, but i have yet another question.
i'm planning on getting a DC 4-1 ceramic header, and i was wondering how long (on average) will it last before it starts to show signs of rust?

You know what I washed my car today and found that my Dc sports header is now starting to rust a small amount around the welds on the flange that meets the head. Errrr talk about mad, I already called the shop i got it from and they said that it only has a 2 yr warranty, but he sadi he would write me a new receipt for like 8 months ago so that i can send it back to DC Sports and get a new one
 BTW this header has been on my car for about 2.5 yrs and has seen alot of N20, so it is no real surprise that it is showing a small amount of rust. I am going to be selling the new header when it gets here and buying a SS one so that the N20 does not affect the coating. Looked over the rest of it and everything else looks like the day I put it on.

whtteg, did you suffer any low-end power loss with the header? that's my main concern with gettin the 4-1.

I have the 4-2-1 right now and no I have not lost any low end power that I can tell. But I am going to a 4-1 with the next one I get. Are you looking for a 4-2-1? I will have a brand new one soon
