How long before I can mask off TS paints?
How long do you need to leave TS paints to dry before I can use masking tape to tape off the body and spray the window frames?
I painted the body on sunday morning, last coat went on at around 6.00pm sunday, and it's dry, and doesn't smell wet. That is 4 days now, but I have been leaving the body for 14 days before. just want to get this car completed.. Many thanks. |

4 days should be fine. I usually wait 2 days. (to be sure not to have paint reaction)

Re: How long before I can mask off TS paints?
If you are using good tape like Tamiya, its OK to be masking off after 4-5 days (in good drying warm days).
Just dont leave the tape on to long as it will probably start to lift the gloss off the paint.
