Question 91' base Stealth

I have a 91' Base stealth and am looking for some replacement parts. Is there anyplace to look to find oem replacement parts. The car is basily mint, but due to the age things are starting to need replacing (cosmetic issues. There is one piece that I am looking for in particular. There is a silver metal cover that is located in the lower front of the engine and is right behind the radiator fans. It is held on by three screws and seems to cover a pipe. mine is starting to rust and was looking to replace. Cosmetic issues are the reasons I am looking for replacement parts.

Also, other than a K&N air filter are there any inexpensive upgrades that can be done to increase HP. At this time I am not looking to blow anyone away with this, just wanted to add a little Hp. Hoping to get a 98 3000gt vr4 when I graduate.

Any suggestions on replacement tires for stock 15" rims. Car is only driven in summer.
Thanks for the help.

I believe Dynamic Racing and 3SX sell some OEM parts. You can probably find them other places too but those are the two that spring to mind. As far as metal pieces rusting or losing their finish; you could get a Dremel tool and sand them down a bit, get soem polishing compound or chrome polish and get them shining again.

An open element air filter is a good idea and I'd say a good, custom cat-back will free up some power too. If you have the cash, get a testpipe (if you don't have emissions) and possibly a lightened pulley and you'll have some decent power adders. Good luck

Re: 91' base Stealth

In terms of boosting the HP, I wouldn't bother wasting the money on the base model, if you are planning on buying a VR4. Save your money. It sounds like you are looking for a heat shield. Again, I wouldn't bother if you are planning on getting a VR4. Save your money, keep your car running good, and when you buy the VR4, put your hard earned money into that.
