|
high pitch noise coming from under the hood?
I have a 99' Cavalier:
I am getting a high pitch noise coming from under the hood, when the car is in drive. I also have put in park and heard it as well. I tried checking to see if it was coming from belts, but don't think it's coming from there. But who knows, I could be wrong. Any ideas what this could be?

well i had that problem a little while ago, and i just put the beltdressing on it, the stuff that stops it from squeaking, havent heard it since.

I'm guessing it's the original belts on there. When is the car due for new ones? How much is it going to cost me to have new ones put on? Or how hard would it be for me to put them on?
