Engine Codes
I need help finding the engine code on my 89 SR5 Corolla.
Are the engine codes labeled on the car anywhere? also i,m looking for some performance mods out there, what types of mods can i do to this particular vehicle.

Look in your engine bay, and right at the back, on the firewall (at the top) should be a little plate (or something like that) that has your car model and engine model printed on it

I looked at the firewall the only thing there is the body code. anywhere else i can look?

look at your cam cover and you should see a 4age or a 4afe
