2000 solara headlight condensation

I have terrible condensation in one (sometimes both) headlights. How can I remove them to dry them out? I never had this happen on my 98 Camry, so is this normal....it has been heavily raining lately.
Thanks.

Re: 2000 solara headlight condensation

It's not usually normal, what causes this is when the seals that go between the clear plastic part and the backing of the light break down, therefore letting moisture in. You need to remove your corner lamps by removing the retainer clip by the fender on each side, and there will be two bolts on top holding your lamps in, and one on each side behind where you took the signal lamp out, remove all three and take the lamp out. You can seperate the lenses from the case by turning your oven on for about five minutes to 350 and after the five minutes, turn it off, place each light on a baking sheet for 6-7 minutes with foil underneath and seperate the lights. Wipe them out and clean them, and press them back together.
