Ticking Noise
There is a ticking noise coming from the right side of my valve cover (or somewhere around there) This noise does not go away when the car warms up, it is there all the time... so it cant be the lifters can it? The noise is not even that loud. What could it be?

I think this is where the noise is coming from.

sounds like lifter tick... does the sound of the tick get faster when you rev the engine? you could also have one bent valve causing it to tick like that which is rare but its possible! pull the valve cover off and check for play in the roller rocker that is directly under the cam, if it moves a lot while the cam is off of it then you most likly have a bent valve! good luck

Re: Ticking Noise
Nevermind... I just fixed it... I am a tard.
It was my egr blockoff it was causeing the tick. I took it out and put a penny in the middle of the gasket and the metal and it is fine now. I think i need to find a more permenant solution but I dont want to but a kit, I'm cheap.
