My Ignition module keeps going out on my 93 Grand Am. Anybody have any ideas what could cause this?

So you suggest that I replace the coil? I guess I can try that.

I'm not saying 100% that that is your problem, but it won't hurt to try..

Re: Re: 93 Ignition Module Keeps going out

Ok, I had coils tested and was told that they were bad. They have been replaced. I had the ignition module tested and was told that it was good. I took the module to another store and was told it was bad. So I am not sure where I stand now. If the module is good as I was told the first time it was tested, what next? I will have it retested tomorrow back at the store I purchased it from. I will keep you posted as to what I find

Re: 93 Ignition Module Keeps going out

Not sure what financial shape you're in,but you might want to get a module from the dealer instead of aftermarket places. You might be better off in the long run....Let me know what happens....Mike...

Re: 93 Ignition Module Keeps going out

Well This is the Chain of events. 1st a Spark plug wire goes, Then this causes the Coils so go then the Module, You are better off Changing them All with Delco parts. I find the after market Coils and Modules have alot of issues.
