95 block with 99 head possible??

i have a 99 ex civic i froze my block my friend has a 95 block can i put a 95 block and put on my 99 head and 99 tranny to it if so what mods do i need to make it work ..?

more specific will a 99 d16y8 head bolt on to a 95 ex d16z6 block and will the 99 tranny work with it too?
