Question zetec head on a SPI block, is it possible?

ok so im new to this whole focus thing, and i really love me car.
problem being, with the 2.0L SPI, i dont have the power that i want and need. so heres my Q, is it possible to swap the head out of the SPI and replace it with the zetech head, and will they even bolt up together. and for the next Q, where can i find a superchager or a turbo kit for my SPI. ive hearrd alot about roush racing makeing them, but i cant seem to find anything, so if anyone could help me out that would be fantastic. Hit me Back!!

For the turbo, do a search for some recent threads, there've been a few about the SPI...as for the DOHC SPI, unless you're loaded, forget about it.

i didnt want to know i had to be loaded, i just wanted to know if the head would bolt up to the SPI block, im not worried about cost cause i have a mad scientist mechanic, he just wanted me to check and see if it was possible for them to just bolt right up. If so what else would have to be done?

Re: zetec head on a SPI block, is it possible?

i;m new to this Focus thing to, and I don't

know if the Zetec Head witll fit on the SPI Block but I'm pretty sure a full zetec motor assembly will fit in place of your SPI motor. Also the trans, bell housing patterns are the same so you will be able toy use your existing transmition. doing this swap by I will be the end of the week, I will let you know how it works out. If you decide to go for the swap, and if you have the money, iwould recomend upgrading to the zetec trans or better for the better gear ratio's. good luck man..

Does any body know if the zetech motor has a cast crank or a forged crank?
