If this can be done how much would a thing cost or would it just be better to get a new engine or put a turbo on it????? Becaust i know if you have H23 its only 160 and putting a new head on (H22) put it up around 220-240 that is more then just having a H22 enigine at 195hp.

Re: h23 block with h22 head in 98 sh?

i think this is more of an issue for 4th gens since they all dont come vtec stock and all, but for 5th gens i wouldnt try this it would be a waste of money, just add a nice intake and like header and you get same hp output anyway dont evne need catcback, but with the sh's its also a bit hard to turbocharge i heard since of all the extra mods the sh has over the normal 5 spd to turbocharge them you gotta like pay to get new transmission and stuff i dunno

Go for it

Hey man i were u i would do that it will be cheap if u have the vtech head. if u gona spend a lot of money i would rebuild the head and then u would get like 300 horsepower easy.
