1997 Gs idle problems need advise!!!

hi my girlfriend has a 97 gs eclipse 5-sp, n/a, im not very experienced in mitsubishi, but her car will rev up and down when at idle speed, the car runs fine just does that at idle, i know hondas better and i know that sometimes that is because of vtec, but mitsu doesnt have vtec so im almost clueless, it also could b the TPS? where is that? any links to pics? thanks for ur help!

check the plugs thats easy...and try cleaning the fuel injection that might work
