Steering jerks to side...

I accidentally hit a curb in my Trans Am, and my tire blew up and now the steering jerks to the side. Does anyone know what is wrong or what kicked out of place?

Re: Steering jerks to side...

You must get it in to have it checked. This could be a very dangerous condition. The front end is at least way out of alignment, caused by the impact.

your tire blew up? not to make you sound like a moron, but is it flat? and without any question what so ever, you will need an alignment.

Re: Steering jerks to side...

you could have also possibly need to replace tierods ect...if its bent then it will pull hard to the side...does it constanatly pull or does it pull only on uneven surfaces (i.e wavy concrete) or does it do both?
