intake sensor upgrade

what do yall think about that intake sensor upgrade. it is a sensor that more or less mimics the ohms of cold air, allowing your vehicle to pull in a stronger gas/air mixture. there are some on ebay and i was just wanting to know what yall thought, they say it can increase horsepower.
