What's the difference, engine wise, between a 4g63 eclipse, and a Evolution?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: What's the difference, engine wise, between a 4g63 eclipse, and a Evolution?
its has free flowing head, the eclipse 4g is a more restrivtive motor. the new 4g is designed better, also the tranny is on the oppisite side on the new 4g as compared to the old 4g. and the new 4g has a better flowing turbo, the fuel managment is also better tuned which lets it get more hp. but internal wise, piston rods, and crank i believe is the same. both motor can handle 22psi with proper tunning..

the stock evo motor can actually 22psi it may not be good for the turbo but there are plenty of people who runs 22psi for short burst in a race. many evo's can hold 350whp easily. what are you planning to do with the engine? and the best place to really ask these questions would be to go to
