96 blazer power seats quite working??? help

I recently bought a 1996 blazer LT and after about 3 weeks the power seats quite working,not only on the drivers side but the pass.side as well. Any suggestions? I checked all the fuses in the side panel and all are good

I also have a 96 chevy blazer, and my seats quit working. There is a cluster of wires under the driver side floor mat. Pull the carpet back, and look for corroded wires. This is where i had my problems. I had to splice a piece in between the wire (orange, i think) cus when i cut out the corroded wire they were not long enough to reach each other again. Hope this helps....

check your fuses first, then go for the wiring.

remember easiest first.

all fuses check out and seem to be ok, It just all of a sudden quite working on both driver and passengar sides

then its on to the wiring that runs under the carpet as suggested earlier.

Did you figure it out? I got a 95 lt blazer with the same problem. Also, the power locks don't work, the seats don't work! Can't figure it out. Checked fuses and unplugged the seats. Any ideas?!

how does the sill plate come out? are there screws holding it on ? or does it just pop off? thanks

They just pop off on my 96 easiest ones I have ever seen.

I have the same problem, I looked at the wires and they were all coroded. But I have about three orange wires that have coroded. Any suggestions to find out which wires go together.

I have a 2000 LT power everything and I just fixed some of the same trouble...The large( or thick) orange wire was my problem..however it only fixed my drivers seat, the passengers still doesn't work...but Im working on it.

I believe the passenger seat doesn't have power capabilities.

Just power lumbar if my memory serves me correctly.
