mafs questions..... please help a SR guy!

hello, my friend just got a 4th gen (? i think it was a 95 or so ?) maxima mafs and is trying to run in on his sr20det.... it looks very similar to the z32 mafs that are a popular upgrade for our cars, but this one has only 3 wires.... am i correct to assume that red=power black=ground and white=signal? do any of you maxima guys use an apexi afc? it doesn't seem that alot of you do from a couple preliminary searches.... what setting to you guys use for your stock mafs.... the z32 settings are hotwire4 or hotwire2, but these don't seem to be working for us.... if any of you could help us out, that would be phenomenal..... much love for the nissans.... matt

I am a little confused. are you haveing trouble with the afc or wiring the maf. SR20 mafs are 3-wires if i remember correctly.

How did you solve this? I've got the same MAF as you have, and I've looked for DAYS with no luck!
