Brakes on Pontiac Grand Am 98

What name brand brakes are good for this Pontiac grand am se 98? It seems i have to replace mine every year. .What type of spark plugs do yall use on your Pontiacs for power? DEBBIE.

I personally like Performance friction, you can pick them up at AutoZone.
As for the plugs,if it came from the factory with A/C Delco platinum plugs,put them back in. I tried Bosch platinum in my 96' GT, and they didn't last 3 months......Mike......
P.S. forgot to add, you mentioned that you have to replace the front bakes at least once a year, make sure the rear shoes are adjusted right.This will help not only with a better brake pedal, but also cut down on the replacement of the front pads...mike...
