Help me... Please... WAY WAY low gas millage... and no SES light!!!

Don't flame me, cause I've read the posts for the poor gas mileage but I couldn't find any usefull info.
I am totally exhausted with my MPG issue.
I tell you guys the story complete but quick. I got the car on Oct 2003. It's a 1.8S Sentra (QG18DE motors).
The first tank in car, I got 270miles on a full tank. after that, it became lower and lower till I got (on time) 202 miles on a 12 gallons tank. right now, i'm getting around 230-250 miles per tank. I love the car but this damn car is rated 38 city and 35 hwy and I'm always on highway and getting (the best) 21.5 miles per gallon. I have a scanner tool that connect to my OBDII connector and shows me almost everything. rpm, o2 voltage, advanced timing, speed, engine coolant temp, intake air temp and .....
I tried to drive like a grandma and go no pass 3000rpm ever, it increased it from 19.5mpg to 21mpg (1.5mpg). I would need ANY ANY ANY ANY help that I can get. Anything that you think could have cause that. It a brand new car (well, now it has 7000 miles on it) and NO ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. again... NO ENGINE LIGHT IS ON.

that's really strange, have you taken it to the dealer?
I normally get around 30mpg in my SE, sometimes as high as 34 if I use the cruise on a long trip. Never any lower than 28, and that's with some real aggressive driving with i/h/e.

What type of fuel do you use? Last time oil was changed? What kind of oil? Air filter? Blockages? How many miles on the car? I agree with taking it to the dealer as well.
