Re: a few csc questions

what do you use for laquer then, will oven off work for this or only break fluid work.

I left a Tamiya GT3 in CSC for about a week and it stripped the paint and primer completely off. I also put a Fujimi 240 in that had all of its paint and most of its primer stripped off.
I am going to reprimer both anyway, so I'll probably just sand down the body or use a toothbrush and comet (this is a good way to put a good "tooth" on a brand new model body, as it will lightly scuff the new plastic).

Also, as a general reminder, please PLEASE be careful with Castrol Super Clean. I have learned my lesson twice : about NOT handling that stuff with bare hands. Always use gloves and eye protection - that stuff is strong!

Re: a few csc questions

So far, with CSC I've gotten everything off that I attempted, except Tamiya primer. It must etch itself into the plastic really well...

Just sand it down, wash it, dry it well, and re-prime....
