Another CSC question

Will Castrol Super Clean remove Dupli-Color Automotive paint from my model? If not, what will? ...thanks.

This stuff is great for removing paint. It's extremely gentle on plastics.

Brake Fluid

Auto brake fluid can be used too, it won't harm the plastic and will strip lacquers. Just make sure you get brake fluid and not brake cleaner.

Just a word of warning: Brake fluid smells BAD. Goopy stuff too, but cheap! What brand do you guys prefer?

I have had some luck, but it's been a lot of trouble. :o I think it must have to do with how well the coat of paint etch into each other...

other solution...

Hi,
recently i posted some pics with the result with a spray of cleaning hoven without caustic soda...... during 12 hours in a plastic bag, and after, you just clean your pieces with a toothbrush... very easy, not expensive and real result...

well ive been soaking some parts for about week now and most of the primers been strip, but stupid me i couldve stripped in a few minutes i have an ultra sonic cleaner.

BTW i havent had much luck with Dupicolor on plastic, i gonna airbrush it on but what other thing can i do to prevent orange peel

csc hasn't removed or damaged epoxy putty work, but the toothpaste putty seems to dissolve.

Same here, plus, CSC seems to be able to take off gap-filling CA!
