Here's the 1,000,000 CSC question...

..if you guys wouldn't mind indulging me, I can't seem to find this in a search:

When stripping paint using Castrol Super Clean, does it affect glue joints? What about putty?

Thanks in advance!
David

Glue no, putty is hit or miss. I use CSC pretty much only for stripping chrome now, as opposed to other paints, but the times that I have, it's left the glue alone. I just stripped a chrome wheel that was glued to an axle last, in fact.

from what ive seen yes it does strip putty. from personal experience, it strips tamiya basic putty and squadron green putty. I think it does strip milli-put as well.
