I was cleaning out my cab the other day and noticed an air freshener inside my passenger door (I have a single cab) pocket. It's one of those fresheners in a can with a peel-back lid and the sponge-like material the holds the scented stuff. The can was laying on its side, jammed at the very front of the pocket and somehow the scented stuff must have had some kind of a chemical reation with the pocket's plastic and the heat/cold inside the cab. It melted an indention in the plastic and turned it literally into goo! My interior is a dark tan, so I immediately thought it was melted chocolate or peanut butter. Now I have a small dip inside the pocket with pieces of paper towel that I used to try and clean up the goo. Has this happened to anyone else, Silverado or not? Also, how hard (and expensive) would it be to replace the pocket lining inside the door panel, or is it all one piece? AF please help!
