Ok then, how 'bout we post up our best 1/4 mile times.

I've so far managed a 14.1, with a r/t of 1.1(crap i know)

White R33 Nissan Skyline GTS25T, 400r lookalike front and skirts, 3" exhaust, HKS Induction system, Link computer, closed loop boost, Blitz BOV, Blitz Boost guage, Razo Turbo timer, Momo gearshift, Enkei RP01 17" rims, Front 235/45/17 Kuhmo 712, Rear 235/45/17 Toyo T1/S Proxes

Running 14 lb boost.

Soon to add a GTR intercooler

I also have a R33 but I forgot the exact 1/4 mile time. I don't want to post a lie.

You don't have to answer if you don't want too but where do you race?

I personaly like the race track Laguna Seca in California because I live close to it. Close meaning I live about a cople of hours away. By the way, MotoRex is how I got my R33, if you were wondering (since I'm in America).

I got it a while back. It was over $55k with mods, I think a little more. I like it a lot. But it was more like of an investment. Racing for money is what it is mostly used for. I have a few other cars for daily driving. I don't drive the GTR daily.

I have a BabyG. An R32 GTS4, which is a single turbo 2 litre 4WD with 4WS, ABS, HICAS, active spoilers... ...blah blah blah. Anyway, I drag with Arithon at Meremere. My little car runs flat 14's on the strip. I hav used GTech and had better times on private roads, but those times could'nt be considered official.

R32 GTR cost between only $20K and $30K here normally. R33 $35K up to around $55 -depending on condition and R34 GTR are going for around $120K. Your American dollar is worth twice our value.
The moral of the story - We can get the car much cheaper, but it is harder to earn a buck here.
We have a friend who runs high 11sec runs in his old R32 GTR. He has a block of wood in his engine bay holding some hosing in place. The thing is bullet proof and very fast.

My previous car was a GTS4 (R-32), no mods except a pod filter, even the dirty cat was still in place. Only did a 14, pretty slow, then again the motor had the absolute piss ripped out of it
Did anyone here ever time a Toyota Celica(the 240hp 4WD one) theres a guy at work that has one claims he got a 12.5 secs, sounds a bit unrealistic to be honest...

Are you there in Aussie EMV?

Your dragstrips over there are apparently much better than ours

Traction is always a big problem with our Meremere strip

Does anyone know if Motorex imports R34 25GT's? I can't afford one now, but someday

I like the front on them better, there are less vents and stuff tacked on...it looks cleaner that the GTR. I like rear-drive too.
