I just bought an 88 F150 with a 5.0. Below the radiator fill are two nipples. The bottom one has a hose running to the overflow. The top has no hose. what should it connect to? Anyone have a picture? Thanks.

I have a 92' F350 that has the two nipples your referring to. The top nipple is for attaching the hose to the overflow resevoir. The bottom nipple connects to a hose that ties into the heater return hose. Your specific vehicle may not use the second nipple. When I purchased a new radiator it came with a cap to block this port if not needed.
Here is a picture for reference. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I went ahead and capped the lower nipple, now it's all good.
