1997 door lock problem

Hello to all and thank you to the ones that helped me out over in the Seirra forum. My problem with my 97 Suburban is that the door lock switches have quit working but the truck will still lock and unlock with the keyless remote. I checked the fuse panel on the dash and swapped out a relay under the steering column. Is there more than one relay or fuse that I can check? If I could get any info. in the right direction I would like to fix the problem without the Dealer pricetag.

check the fuses under the hood. assuming the fuse isn't shot theres a few possibilities for this problem. check the master switch on the drivers door it might be unpluged or there could be broken wires where the wires go through the door. i had a van with a problem like this and it turned out to be the module for the keyless entry. does the passenger door switch do anything?

I know this sis an old posting but hope to get a resp, as this is the closest to my problem (after reading for an hour all the related postings).
Just bought a 97 Burb LT (to replace my old 97 Police Special :-) the wireless remote, both front door push buttons, and the rear side button open and close the drivers door only, the 3 passenger doors would not power open or close, not even click, but they can be opened and locked manually. Rear hatch/latch (glass flip up hatch) opens with push button on dash but not on the remote (remote is aftermarket Audiovox Premier alarm with single button to open and lock and second button to release "trunk"
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you pressing the button a second time?
The other doors open on the second push.

Yes but it would lock at first push, even on pasanger or back door button, but there is no action except on drivers door, that I can open or close from all 3 places. The after market alarm is set up in such way that I can hear a second relay clicking when the system unlocks, so that is not it. Where are the secondary relay's or actuator for them/it?

Hello I have a similar problem if anyone could help I would surely appreicate it! I have a 1999 subruban and none of my doors lock or unlock when i push the lock button on the driver or the passenger door, it does click and they sort of move a bit but doesn't lock. I have checked the fuses but I have no luck. The back door doesn't lock or unlock with the button either. Any suggestions. Thanks
