1995 Geo Metro 4cyl...5-sp 4dr...

I looked at a 1995 Geo Metro today that has 158,000 miles on it....
And, the guy is asking $1100. / bo...
thought about asking him what is lowest he will take...
I have not heard it run...but, from what I see here...
158K is not tooo many miles...what should I look for...
Too buy or not buy...?

Look for rust on the underbody mainly. Also ball joints, tie rod ends, CV boots, and transmission condition. That's really high mileage for a metro tranny. They start to lose synchros around 130k
