Problem wit brake lights
My brake lights arent workin and i dont have the stock engine, i have a ls motor in there so do i have to a ls brake clip or can i just use a civic one?

it doesnt matter what engine you have, the brake system is independant of the engine. if your brake lights dont work, check the sensor by the brake pedal first. also, check the brake light fuse.

but if those are good, check for a short in the wiring. Also, have you installed an aftermarket stereo recently? I ask because I had the same problem in my old Accord. I hit a bump one day & my taillights and cluster lights went out (the fuse blew). I tore that car apart & must've replaced about 5 or 6 fuses before I figured out what the problem was. The 'illumination' wire from the stereo had grounded out & it just so happened that the stereo, cluster lights & taillight wiring were all part of the same harness. Then again, it was an '86 Accord. Just something to check though. |

No i havent hooked a stero lateley but thanks i will check the fuses and see wats wrong.
