FYI about my old 90 DAKOTA

I dont have my 90 dakota anymore but i thought id give you a headsup while i thought of it.

i rear ended a saturn, and my steering colum ripped out of my frame. after welding it back in, come to find out, it was a RECALL on my 1990 DAKOTA. The Recall was they didnt reinforce the steering colum to the frame when they manufactured them.. very dangerous if unnoticed. i was lucky and it dropped when i was parked.
