Cold Air Intake Help

I'm like a newbie on this kind of stuff so I come to you people for help lol. well I just put a cold air on my 95 GS and well today I drove it in the rain for the first time. I checked it and the filter had some water on it not a lot but just a little and I was just wondering how big of a problem this was. In the future would any of you reccommend buying a bypas valve or maybe a splash shield for it. I don't know like I said im pretty new with these things. How big of a problem is rain for a cold air. Thank you. Also, I'm trying to start small with performance parts can ya'll give me some recommendations to start with. Thank you.

I would not worry about it. And for the web sites look at the sticky at the top. For the cheapest price, I think most of the time that is ebay.

hey man i no from first hand experience bro i have a cai on my 97 gs and my car actually took sum water in through the intake.. i was pissed but wut it ended up doin was shorting out the starter and hydrolocking a piston so i basically need a new engine what i did now is since u got an extension pipe that goes down to the driver side frame take that pipe off and jus make it a short ram like anytime it rains jus pop the hood and take the ext. pipe off.. and ull be good
with the mods for ur car? fullcat back exhaust i would prefer apexi n1 <---loud and nice and i got obx headers cause they were cheaper than the greddy ones but hey it shure made a diff in my car or also just go to www.hahnracecraft.com and check out there bolt ons
good luck.
