Hot Cold Air Intake, Help!

the air intake is stock but has a superstreet airfilter on it, and when im done drivin around or whatever and i lift the hood its pretty hot and my car runs weird after about 5minutes of runnin the engine, what could possibly be wrong with it?!

seeing your intake and filter is right above your tranny, the heat off your tranny let alone the heat off your motor is probably making it pretty hot! i think its time for a new intake set up...

and the reason its running weird... well that could be a lot of things, what does it do? any upgrades besides the filter? lol

I doubt the hot intake is making it run weird. Why.. because my intake gets very hot and the filter is right above the tranny and next to the header. Now if i can just find some damn abs pipe I can make a better setup.

well in about a week or so i plan on gettin a new intake setup, but when its hot it concern's me very much, as far as it running weird, i have fixed it, the car was vibrating, so i fixed thats no big deal now, i have new photos to add to my website but ill do that later. as far as other upgrades, all i have is an exhaust system and an airfilter, thats pretty much it as far as engine upgrades.

I havent had the car for very long so i plan on swapin to a gsx motor, so the engine is completly stock ( its a waste to dump money into an engine that i dont want or plan to swap out)!

im also having a bit of a problem installing a head unit into my 90 clispe, so if anyone has any headunit wiring graphs for a 90 clipse please e-mail them to me ASAP!

I also need like a how to, to create a custom intake tube.
