unable to start on first time
I am unable to start my 95 S-10 Blazer on the first crank. One mechanic replaced 2 injectors stating that they were "bad and leaky".
After it has been warmed up, it starts on the first crank. Any ideas as to why the cold starts take a couple of tries? Could it be my fuel pump? If it is, what's an inexpensive way to fix this besides replacing the fuel pump? |

Re: unable to start on first time
try replaceing your oil pressure switch. i just went through this with a local dealer. they replaced the fuel pump($500.00) and still wouldn't start. oil switch did the trick. george

Re: unable to start on first time
its a fuel pressure problem. hopefully just the regulator. make sure the fuel pump relay is working if you hear the pump buzz when the key is turned on it's doing it's job

Re: unable to start on first time
all s-10's that are fuel injected use the oil pressure switch to run the fuel pump.
