Lower Balljoint
Hi,
I went to put my spindles back on. The upper balljoint when on perfect and the tie-rod balljoint also went on perfect. But when I went to tighten the lower balljoint it got tight at first then started spinning on itself. No matter what i do it jus spins the whole balljoint. I really dont wanna get a whole new spindle and i heard lower balljoints are a bitch to do. Is there a way to hold it in a way so that the balljoint doesnt spin when i tighten it. It worked perfect before i loosened it up. Please help. Thanks

Re: Lower Balljoint
if any of the bolt is sticking out past the castle nut, then use vice grips on it to hold it. you don't have to really tighten the castle nut that much. make sure that it is snug and as long as you can put that pin back in, you should be fine.
