Hi,
I am going to replace my lower balljoint on my drivers side. I have the balljoint. But is it possible to remove the old balljoint with a vice? Or is there any other tool that would work besides a ball-joint removal tool. They costs a 100 bucks at Autozone. Thanks

yea if you bought just the balljoint and not the tie-rod with it attached already, you'll need a hydraulic press to remove the old one.
