Front Suspension...please Help!!!
a few days ago i was driving to work and my 1996 v8 explorer spun around and hit a fence post on the fender and back part of my front passenger wheel. the car runs fine dosent vibrate at speed and handels decently enough but my wheel is now offset about 15-20 degrees to the left. it looks to me that it pushed my wheel out of alignment and messed with my toe in. i took it to midas for an alignment thinking that might be my prob. they said i should get my frame checked out (i have the hinting suspision that just ment they had no idea how to fix it). all i hit was the fencepost, and it broke off without to much beyond a scuf on my wheel and a dent in my fender, i can hardly believe that frame damage would result. so my question to all is HOW DO I FIX MY CAR. PLEASE HELP ME.

I'm new to the forum and just read your post. I presume you've already fixed this if not here are some ideas. By offset I guess you mean the seering wheel, the ford explorer has a pretty good front end but is can be damaged and has a history of the steering link failing or wearing out from high loading. I suspect you may have twisted the steering box shaft. If so replace the steering box quick, have seen the shaft fracture through later from just a minor hit and fail breaking off completely. That will create fun if you are at speed.
