i need some input here and i know the true PH(af) ppl are the right ppl to get it from:
"The first thing i want done is the suspension totally replaced. In the case of other civics i've seen that were fast they were incredibly rough rides which took away from speed do to all the bouncing and swaying. so i want mine ready for the mods i'm putting on. so this is how it is I've decided to go with Neuspeed because they are a good company and have decent prices. My first choice was Eibach but they are extremely expensive so Neuspeed it is. This is the list of stuff i'm looking at purchasing 1. Lowering Springs 2. Anti Sway Bar (rear) 3. Front upper strut bar 4. Upper and lower tie bars(rear) the only thing i'm really not sure on here is will the upper and lower tie bars fit back there with the anti sway bar. do they both do the same thing or what? and if i can't have both and i get the tie bars do i need both of them and will they fit properly? Last but not least i've decided that for the sake of being safe(i've had control bushing problems on my current POS) i'm going to swap out all the bushings with Prothane preformance bushings. that way i won't have to worry about em for a while. Well leave me your thoughts and comments. I would like another opinion besides my own cause i want to get the most out of my car. " |

Nuespeed Spring will work great.. For the best results Id also get some shocks as well, when you do your springs. You will have to sooner or later anyway. Your best bet for shocks would probably be Koni tho they cost a little more they are great shocks, Tokico are also decent KYB's arent bad but Ive heard many instances of the blowing out fairly quick. I would save up the money and get the Koni yellows if you can.
Swaybars and strut bars work together fine usually. Swaybars will reduce your body roll and make the car feel a little more stable, but beware... To thick of a swaybar can cause problems, and can even make for a rough ride. It will reduce understeer, too thick of a bar will give you oversteer which will put you into a spin easier so becareful. Strut bars will stiffen up the chassis which will help in hard cornering, not very noticable for the most part. The bushings will also make your car a little stiffer riding, so keep that in mind also.
