Helpme make a decision

I'm looking at the acura rsx, mazda protege, and hyundai tiburons. I don't know too much about cars, so any help I get would be appreciated. It would have to be a used, something for around $10,000. Out of these three cars which one is the best choice. I want a car that looks sporty, I am more into the way it looks than how fast it actually is. I would actually rather a 4 cylinder because of the better gas mileage. So basically I was just wondering which car a knowledgeable person would go for if he/she had my prefrences. Thanks

Re: Helpme make a decision

the rsx has to look the best right off the bat. i do not like tibis at all and the protege is the least powerful of the three but i dont really know where you can get a rsx for 10g's

more bang for the buck would definitely be the acura rsx. it looks awsome and comes stock with 200hp which is fast enough depending on your requirements. it also has tons of cosmetics available and tons of bolt-on performance parts. good luck, kenny

Proteges are pussies. Tiburons are slow ass cars. The RSX is out of your budget.

You wouldn't want the Tiburons you can afford any way. Last generation's Tiburons look just nasty. Any RSX is out of your budget, but Integras are not. The Protege is great as a day-to-day transportation, but it isn't what you are looking for since you want that sporty look.

Re: Helpme make a decision

if you can find a rsx for under 10k, it would have to be a piece, or the owner is just plain stupid. the new tiburons are cool, but again comes the price, you cant get the new ones for 10k. and the protege's are just plain ugly. if you want a good looking, used, 4-cylinder car, look at a 240sx or integra.

Re: Helpme make a decision

Try and find a protege MP3. They are pretty rare but I think they look better than rsx's or tiburons.

Re: Helpme make a decision

i just noticed that, they are all autos. so i would never pick on of those. but hey, if there are those, then there must be a manual 300zx tt for under 10k somewhere out there, just depends on the condition.

I'd personally go for a '98 Trans Am or Formula for those prices.
