Chain or Belt???

Does my 99 Saturn SL have a timing chain or belt? It has 90k on it now, and if it has a belt, I'm getting rid of it!

its a chain, and after 160K its almost time for mine to be changed.

actualy, a large part of the 1.9L's oil problum is because of the chain. next time i get a oil change, i'm going to try that new power engine flush. i hope it will help

What makes it having a chain make it use oil?? WHat is the power flush?

My 96 started needing an extra quart the closer it got to oil change time.
And more as the car got older.
Now at 224k+
