Service 4wd Switch
I have a 95 grand cherokee limited with all wheel drive and when i shift it into 4lo the VIC tells me that i need to service my 4wd switch. This is the only time it comes on. Any help would be appreciated.

had the same problem with my 94 there's a switch on top of the transmission that lets your computer know your in 4lo you can just unplug it and when you switch into 4lo it won't light or keep beeping.the switch is 85$ not worth it

Jeep Grand Cherokee Service 4WD Switch
I have been having this same message on my VIC. I checked my transfer case fluid level and found it was low. Since I refilled the transfer case I have not had this message again. Looks like the dealers are holding out on service information. I couldn't find anywhere that tells me there is a fluid level switch associated with this VIC message.
