Weight power ratio

is 200hp a good rating for an older celica.. After all with it being a hatchback it is fairly light, so I would imagine one wiht that power would have some ass... right?

Re: Weight power ratio

OK well a older Ceilca is around 2500-2600lbs.

Now if you are the same guy who posted with mods earlier that came to around 200hp then i guess you already know that was flywheel hp. Not to the ground hp. You'll get about 160-170 FWHP. The car wont be as fast as a newer celica but it will be pretty quick.

But dont blow the thing up.

Good luck

Re: Weight power ratio

Yeah I got my celica off of ebay for $600 and its perfect except for the engine, it needs rebuilding and I dont want to start doing that until I know exactly what the best method is to go about it.. I'm trying to push as much power out of her as I can without "blowing it up"
