Spring is coming, need opinions!

My shopping list so far to get my car running and driving again:

- FRPP 36# Injectors (I'm downgrading cause it ran way too rich!) $400 from Proficient Performance.

- C & L 80mm MAF for 36#ers (More tunes and specs available for tuning with my tweecer!) $200 from Proficient Performance.

- MSD Blaster TFI Coil (To replace the stocker) $45 from Summit.

- FRPP 9mm Wires (My headers melted the living fuck out of my old ones!) $40 from Summit.

- DEI Plug Wire Boot Protectors (See above!) $52 from Summit.

For some reason summit doesnt carry the Ford 36#ers anymore.

If you know of another place thats cheaper for these parts please let me know!

Re: Spring is coming, need opinions!

I still think you would be fine with 30# injectors and a good FPR. Do you plan on with a supercharger or something eventually?

I also believe that 80mm MAF meter will require extra tuning from the tweecer, but think you would be fine with a 77mm pro-m unit.

I have the FRPP 9mm wires, work good for me!

$400 for FMS Injectors!!!!!!!!!! Fuck that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the are $220 everywhere and if you really can't find FMS, Accel, MSD injectors are all the same!

Wires I like Moroso's new one's they just came out about a year ago. The name slips me but the are badass. FMS wires are nice still.

Actually everone I talked to agreed with my combo 36's would be perfect and I have an adj. regulator. Yeah I have plans for a high boost turbo setup(I've finally decided definitely turbo!). But then I'll probably upgrade to like 50's or something.

Hey GTStang whered you get em for $220? 36's? The only reason I would prefer FMS injectors is there are also more tunes and specs available for them for tweecer tuning. The mass air and injector voltages are very important to tweecer tuning for better idling and obviously more power.

Children you have all been spoiled by the internet. The ease of buying performance parts these days is so much easier thanks to it. So once in a while you have to learn to work for it.

Just goto Summit Racing. This time put in the part number FMS-M9593B302. Watch what pops up, the price, and the availabilty. Fucking $400, you should call those people and tell them what fucks they are. Also MSD, Accel all the injectors work exactly the same and are all based on the same pulse widths etc.., there is nothing special your tweecer gets from FMS injectors.
