Ok I have a 94 Legend Seden with a four speed auto..when drag racing somebody is it faster to actually start from 1st or just to stay in 4th the whole time? I have tried either way and have a hard time noticing the differance cause I always win either way
......except for that damn SupraTT who beat me by A LOT. If I were to start from 1st, what RPM's would be best to shift at? ThanksJosh :smoka: |

If you start in first, bring the rpms all the way to redline, then shift. If it were stick and you were racing thats what you would do. I personaly think its better to just leave it in Drive for dragging, it works better that way for me. Different with different cars though.

Put it in D3. It will hold your revs longer than in D4. Also use about 3/4 throttle instead of full throttle when accellerating from a stop; you'll get a better response.
