which way? this way?...oh! that way

aight im new here and i just got a 96 240 and im not gonna go for insane amounts of power.... gonna get an sr20 from a company down here in miami....no rb's for me i dont have that kind of cash... ne ways i was wondering how far the sr20det can go should i start getting power hungry afta i do the swap... the one im looking into says s15 sr20det stock 245 hp comes with 6 speed tranny ecu and wiring harness for around 4k, i saw other ones with 205 horses at like 2k or something but id rather start with the most solid foundation and just build a really solid car i can rev if i feel like it. they say no motor comes with more than 60k km so im wondering if thats about the right price... so im 18 ive saved a decent amount of money to spend on this car and i live in miami so im pretty shure i dont need 400 horses... this is the right way to go right?... engine currently has 120k miles but is in pretty dam good shape and ive driven a bunch lately and my cars engine seems to be stronger than some 240's with 80k-90k miles. extremedimensions.com has a gangster @ss r33 bodykit for like under 800 bucks... again im a nooby so dont thrash im just trying to learn as much as i can...

go with the s14 sr20det. the s15's 6 speed tranny was poorly built and isnt very strong.

first off...someone delete this thread i accidentally double posted, and second...i get the 6 speed is weaker thing but if u read the other post im not looking for 450 hps, im trying to build a fun daily driver... so yes 6 speed may be weaker but it will handle the power im gonna give it... at least thats wat one of suislide's post led me to believe...
