One easy way to make the interior look nice on a Cav is to make your knobs clear (AC, FAN, etc.). For newer Cav's it is very easy, take off the knobs (just pull... hard!!!) and peel off the black, plastic covering. They look way better and it is really easy to do.

Saw a guy around town with purple lights all over his dash. It was a good looking car.

It is a dark purple, almost kind of blue. Kind of like the led light on the front of the PS2. I guess It does have kind of the same shade as blacklight, but not quite. It looked really good IMHO and I think the guy used red as a complimenting color.

Kind of like this (different car, I don't think this is quite the same color, but same idea)...

Nah, done worry about it, there's no way to really screw it up. It is just kind of time consuming to get behind the dash and put in all of the lights. Just look up the stock light number for your car, then look around for custom bulbs with the same number. I would probably order several shades of the color you want (just one bulb a piece) and when you find the color you want, go with it.

Be careful though, my friend did all blue lights, and about 2 weeks of use the blue faded all away and they were just white.
