If you're getting the JRSC, a liquid intercooler would be high on my list.

for the price of the JRSC, you'll get more power from a turbo kit.

Just start saving up and get a TURBOCHARGER and build up the motor for it to handle the boost.

It wouldn't be very ideal for autocrossing, and ATTS will disable at roughly 250whp. If the transition when it engages was smoother, then it's workable...last thing I want is the turbo to kick in on a tight turn. That's why I'm leaning towards the JRSC.

a properly matched turbo for your application with a properly designed wastegate and boost control system will give you very good lowend response and prevent sudden power increase.

i autocross frequently, and am working on a T3 based sytem with a .48 A/R trim. internal wastegate set at 5psi with boost control system to increase boost from the cockpit for "on the fly" tuning for autocross track diversity.

with a turbo that small and enough boost to push 230-250whp, and the ability for boost to build at 1000rpm, and full boost attained before 2500rpm, i dont think it will interfere with my powerband during cornering. it will take some getting used to, but the LSD will also assist my cornering abilities. but once the wheel snaps back to center, i will be able to have enough power to quickly engage the next turn.

if you'd like, i can keep you updated on my test and tune on this. since i installed an LSD, i got pushed up to Street Mod, and with the SM class here, i need more power... i can negotiate turns as well or better than the other guys, but i have a lot less HP to put me through the straights. plus with the speeds attained at regional and national level events, the power is going to come in handy, along with my DOT legal race tyres

I'd be interested in how it goes. If it works for you, then I would seriously reconsider going for a turbo setup.

that's not an intercooler... it's a misnomer. you cannot intercool a roots type blower since there's no room to cool the charge prior to it entering the intake runners.

that's a water injection system, which adds density to the air charge by humidifying it.

intercooler=turbo
aftercooler=centrifugal supercharger
squirt gun=roots blower
