Thumbs down 4.3l V6 Engine Puttering

Hello all,
I just replaced plugs on my 99 blazer and ever since the engine putters in low RPMs after it warms up? One minute it'll be running fine then it starts puttering when I take off in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears.

I've check all plugs and gapped them correctly.
I know the firing order is 165432 but not sure what cylinder is what on the engine.

Can someone tell me what cylinder is what starting at the front right and going counter clockwise? Meaning is it 135, 246 or 135, 642?

I'm starting to think it may be something besides plugs but it seems like to big of a coincidence that it started after plug replacement???

Any advice much appreciated!

Check your EGR Valve. Mind did that to and I replaced the wires, spark plugs, and fuel filter. There was carbon build up in the valve.

Re: 4.3l V6 Engine Puttering

I have come to find that Bosch foul out alot, epecially the Bosch 4's. I would reconsider using AC Rapid Fires or AC Plats...Yea chech that EGR also, maybe check you MAF sensor as well, and clean your Throttle body while your at it see if that helps.

EGR Valves can be pricy tho so do everything else first!! Tell me what happens. Hope this helps ya.

replaced

I replaced the cap and rotor last Sunday because Autozone ran scan and it said Multiple cylinders misfires.
Problem went away after replacing cap and rotor but after running it for 30 minutes the problem is back and no even worse.
Replacing wires and plugs soon....I'll let you know what happens!

I'll check the ERG valve...Is there a way to check before replacing?

Thanks for all the good advice guys!
