I Think I blew my MSC Module. HELP!!

I think I screwed up. I had to jump my sons' 1992 Buick Lasabre and I used my portable battery pack that came with a cig adapter to cig adapter cable to jump the car thru the cigerette lighter socket. ""Jump your car in comfor""t. Yikes. It started, but now the courtesy lights and dome lights are on all the time when the car is started. If I open the door or plug in the cig lighter or turn the dome light switch to on, the RADIO resets itself to AM and loses it's programming, the heater fan setting defaults to "defrost", the chimes that are supposed to work if you leave your keys in or leave your lights on when you open your door don't work anymore. Also the cig light doesn't heat up anymore. I had a mechanic tell me that I blew my MSC module and I would have to get it from a dealer because it would have to be reprogrammed. What did I do??? Help!!!
