me and the type r

ok one of my freind has a type r with carbon fiber hoold and a aem intake i see him at the gas station and hes like ah is this your other hatch man this its cute (mocking way) is it fast. i just smile and hes like lets fun um so im game we go out to the country and we line up than flag us i jump a half a car off the line i shift into second i see him at my rear bumper and i shift into third i pull a half a car but the end of third going into fourth you could fit another type r in between his front bumper and my rear bumper and pulling while in fourth but its already over i beat him with this hatch the same way i did my other hatch. it was a good race all in fun we both got good launches i guess my car is just a lil faster

well your car is lighter and has more mods in it...so i can see why you won...carbon fiber hood is like 20 pounds lighter and intake is 8-10 horsepower maybe.....so you should beat him..

naw im not mad at all the type r isnt eactly stock and dont type r run 14.7 stock he had intake exhuast jdm itr headers and skunk 2 cam gears and hes on bfgoodrich slicks (which in my opion suck) btw im happy cause my mods arent all that i have no torque im happy with what im running i pull on srt4 pretty good and other modded cars im all right with my car and type r's have 1.8 liters mines 1.6 so its more like a b16b without the compression. like alex pointed out. and i think im more in the low 14's and high ass 13 with street slicks thats my opionon and its not even that modded yet and if i remember some one posting there will be no b16s in the 13's <--ibesix

Re: me and the type r

first off, do u not go to the fuckin track ever?? acura claims type r's run 15.4 stock, so with perfect driving u may be able to get like a 15.5 in low altitude...second...srt-4s run like low 14s stock...theres no way that u can claim to barely pull on a mid to low 15 second car AND say u pull pretty good on srt4s..sry

Actually, 2000-2001 Type Rs have been published as being tested at 14.8, with 14.5 being the best, done by Sport Compact Car.

Stock Type Rs have been known to do as good as 14.3's with just DRs.

Not that all of them are that fast, it's just you need to quantify your statements before you make a blanket statement like that.

Re: me and the type r

wasnt being a smartass, but now i am. if you want to jump on someone for misinterpreting your statements, you have more problems than just the mastery of the english language, although you seem to have the ellipsis down quite well.
