My 5.0 is slow


I just thought my Mustang was fast, this thing runs high 9s. It is a Yamaha R1, and is owned by my best friend who also owns a 93 Cobra.

Yea, the Suzuki is faster. I've had this thing up to 175 with plenty left, don't really want to go any faster than that.

That's because you've never ridden one. Busas are pigs, way too damn heavy. Only reason people love em is because of how fast they are in a straight line.

Parrish, get that turbo setup done and you can run down an R1 or a busa, no sweat

I rode on back of one about 5 months ago. They are soooo sweet. That one was a metallic blue.

Once again, you say that because you've never ridden one. Turbo busas make for terrible street machines. With a stock swingarm, forget about it. Add ATLEAST a 6" swingarm, which furthur reduces the busas handling prowess, and you can can somewhat keep the front tire down rolling into the throttle in 4th or 5th. Don't belive everything you read in magazines or on the internet, they are hardly the best bikes.
