Re: gas milage?

Mileage is something like 19/28 mpg.

Not much.

Mid to low 13's.

Formulas, Trans Am's, WS6's, and Firehawks are all of the Pontiacs. There there are Z28's, SS's, and Corvettes from Chevy.

Re: gas milage?

LS1's were from 1998 and up, before that was the LT1's

The 97 Corvette had an Ls1 also. But T\A's and Z28's got them in 98.

There was no 1997.5 but the 1998 T/A, Z28's probably hit the showroom floor about midway through the year(97). Thats what your thinking of...

Re: gas milage?

Yeah, the 98's started hitting the floor around Aug-September of 1997, and they all had LS1's. Any true 1997 Vin#'d car has an LT1 in it (LT4 if you were lucky)...
